The share email uses internal hostname in the link. How to update the External URL?

Q: When sharing a file/folder to another user, the user receives the share email. However, the link in the share email shows the hostname like http://host01/portal/xxx

How to configure CentreStack so that the link in the share email is the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) for the CentreStack server?

A: Need to define the external URL for the worker node.

Login Cluster Manager as Cluster Admin. Go to Cluster Control Panel, Worker Nodes. Here, edit the worker node and define the FQDN for the server as the external URL.

If you are on Centrestack 12.10.504.53083 or later, you can edit the external URL from Cluster Dashboard, External DNS directly.

Here, you can choose to use the default folder.app domain, or your own public DNS
