Secure Data Room refers to a team folder where user can only access from web portal and view file on the web portal. Cannot download file to local. Cannot access the team folder on native windows/mac client. It can be used to share some sensitive information to the tenant users.
. New Team Folder
- When create a brand new team folder, select Existing Tenant Storage, Default Tenant Storage.
- Type in the team folder name, click Settings icon on top right corner
- Enable Secure Data Room in settings
- Create the team folder and add Collaborators.
. Existing Team Folder
- If the team folder is already created, edit the team folder as admin on web portal
- Under Access Policy tab, create a new access policy
- Name the policy 'Secure data room access' and click Next
- In Condition, select 'Access from Anywhere' and click Next
- In Allow permissions, select 'Secure data room' and Commit.
Again, the Secure Data Room feature allows collaborators to view the contents on web portal only. User cannot download the files or access the team folder on windows/mac client.
