There are different type of folders in Centrestack.
1. Regular folder: A regular folder is not versioned. Files are stored in the original format.
On the web portal root, the regular folder has a 'plain' folder icon.
For some type of backend storage, like local folder/share, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure blob, admin can enable 'inplace' versioning. Once enabled, files stored in the regular folder has versions too. The 'inplace' versioning is defined in Storage Manager, for the home storage/share.
2. Versioned folder: A versioned folder maintains the file version history. User can revert file to previous version. And deleted files remains in the folder. User can restore deleted files. Files in versioned folder are not stored with the original name.
On the web portal root, the folder has icon showing a folder with clock.
3. Attached local folder: Attached local folder is a versioned folder. It is created when user attaches local folder to cloud.
On the web portal root, the folder has icon showing a folder with a monitor.
