Background:
Sometimes you may want to disable one or more Self-Hosted Tenants. You may want to do this for example during a server upgrade or at other times when you want to ensure that users are blocked from actively logging in to the Tenant. This article provides step-by-step instructions to easily disable and re-enable Tenants in a Self-Hosted CentreStack environment.
Requirements:
- CentreStack Cluster Admin level account privileges
Step-By-Step:
Log into your CentreStack Dashboard as either the Cluster Admin or a Delegated Cluster Admin account.
- From the main Dashboard click on "TENANTS (COMPANIES, CLIENTS)"
- Click on the List View icon in the upper left corner. The display will change to list view.
- From the List View you should now be able to disable / re-enable your Tenants by selecting or deselecting the appropriate check box in the "Active" column.
Important Note: The Default Tenant, which is the first Tenant that is created during the initial CentreStack installation and configuration cannot be disabled as this is also the Tenant that hosts the Default Cluster Admin account. This is by design.
