One customer hits an error when saving AutoCAD dwg file in windows client drive. The error message is like this: Unable to save to drawing M:\xxxxxx\xxx.dwg. Drawing saved to M:\xxxxx\saveyyyyyyyy.tmp
After some research, notice the end users are running Avast Anti Virus application. Once disable Avast, the issue goes away.
Checked Avast settings. Customer admin figured out how to exclude the windows client drive from the scanning. Once setup like this, can keep Avast running without hitting the error anymore.
We'd like to extend our gratitude to the customer who shared their Avast configuration screenshots here. For any customers who uses Avast, we suggest you to check the configuration.

I just want word opens or when I brows for files, takes me to the most recent folder I used my very last time, can you help me with this?

Thanks for sharing this solution! Antivirus exclusions can be tricky, especially when they interfere with file synchronization or applications like AutoCAD. The screenshots and step-by-step explanation make it much easier to troubleshoot the issue. Also, if anyone wants to personalize their Instagram profile with stylish fonts, this instagram schrift tool is worth checking out.
