Overview
Sending files via email is a common task nowadays, attachments are an easy way to share files with other people.
From the app, you can share files and a link is generated to access them, but there are times when you want to send the file directly by email, below we explain how to do it with Outlook and Gmail.
Attach a File from the App to Outlook
Open the Outlook email app and create New message, tap on the Attach icon at the bottom
Tap on Choose from files
In the Attach a file view, swipe to the bottom to Other locations and choose Device
Use the hamburger icon at the top left to show different locations and choose the App
App will show all files and folders, go to the specific file to attach and tap on it
The file is attached to the Outlook message
Attach a File from the App to Gmail
From Gmail, the process is very similar. Open the Gmail app and create New message, tap on the Attach icon at the top
Choose Attach file
As in the previous steps, use the hamburger icon at the top left to show different locations and choose the App, navigate to the file and tap on it to attach it.
The file is attached to the Gmail message
